I was approached by Sally Hill, founder of Purpose Conference, who was in the early stages of developing the 2022 conference after a few years hiatus and was seeking support to re-launch the conference and establish it as the #1 event for purpose-driven businesses in Australia. The request was to put systems in place to make sure the process was fun, high-impact, and innovative.
Together we determined that I could assist Sally and the team to develop backend systems and processes that supported the company to build a repeatable, scalable and world class event.
My work with Purpose Conference included:
Developing a strategic roadmap that clarified the business’ vision and translated it into a one-year business plan with quarterly SMART goals.
Built an “Accountability Chart” for the organisation, identifying the major functions of the business and the associated key responsibilities before allocating responsibility (structure first, people second).
Defined and built the core processes across the business and created a centralised, cloud-based “business operations manual”
Supported the team to identify core business metrics to measure on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

Successfully launched and delivered sold out conferences in 2022 and 2023 for over 800 delegates, showcasing scalable sustainable and social impact solutions.
Established a solid foundation for the team to deliver an even bigger and better offering in 2024.
